Engraving is a paid option on the belt itself, not a follow-up email. Open the Customized Championship Belt, tick Add custom engraving, and type your league name and the champion’s name. It is added to the same order and goes to the workshop with your belt.
Plenty of commissioners engrave the league name only and add a winner’s plate for each season after that, so the belt builds up a record of every fantasy champs run in the league’s history.
A standard fantasy trophy is designed to sit on a shelf. A fantasy football trophy belt is designed to be carried, worn and taken to the draft, which is why it does something no cup manages: it keeps last season alive all the way into the next one. The loser has to look at it. The champion has to defend it.
It also survives the league. Cups get thrown out when someone moves house. A belt with ten years of winners engraved on it does not.
