How a custom order works
Build it or tell us about it
Use the builder on this page, or email support@msbelts.com your logo or a rough brief. A few lines are enough to start. You do not need to know the technical terms.
You get a free mockup
Within 48 hours we email you a digital mockup of your belt in your colours, with your artwork on the plates. If you ask for a quote instead, we reply with a written quote that sets out the price in US dollars and the timing for your order.
You approve the design
Check the mockup carefully before you approve it, above all the spelling of names, the dates and the logo. Revisions are unlimited and free. A deposit starts the order, and the balance is due only once you approve the design.
We make it
Once you approve the design, the workshop makes your belt. The plates are cut or cast to the design, finished by hand and fixed to a cowhide leather strap. A standard build takes about 4 weeks from approval; the express option takes 7 days. Matched sets of 5 or more belts usually take 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the plates. These are estimates, not guarantees.
We ship it
Your belt is delivered by courier (UPS, FedEx or DHL), tracked and insured, free of charge, in up to 5 working days, anywhere in the world. Import duties are prepaid by us (DDP), so there are no customs charges to pay on delivery.

How much does a custom belt cost?
The builder on this page shows the price as you choose. An SD belt (brass plates) is $275, a CNC belt (CNC-machined brass plates) is $350 and an HD belt (zinc alloy plates cast in a mould and finished by hand) is $550. 24K real-gold electroplating adds $20 per belt, each millimetre of plate thickness above 2 mm adds $50 (up to 5 mm), name plate engraving adds $25, and the 7-day express build adds $80 per belt. Five or more belts are 20% off and ten or more are 25% off; sets beyond ten are quoted. Your written quote gives the full price in US dollars before you commit.
Will I see the design before it is made?
Yes. We send a free digital mockup within 48 hours of receiving your logo or brief, with unlimited revisions. Production starts only after you approve it, and you pay the balance only once you approve the design.
How long does a custom belt take, and can you meet my date?
The clock starts when you approve the mockup. A standard build takes about 4 weeks after that, or 7 days with the express option, then delivery by courier takes up to 5 working days, anywhere in the world. Matched sets of 5 or more belts usually take 6 to 8 weeks. These are estimates under normal conditions, not guarantees. Tell us your date in your first message and we will confirm in writing whether the timing works for your order.
Can I use my own logo or artwork?
Yes. We make belts with logos, name plates, engraving and fully custom designs. Send artwork that is yours or that you have permission to use. If you have the original artwork file, send that. If not, send a large, sharp image and we will tell you if we need something different.
I do not know which build, thickness or finish to choose. What should I do?
Say so in your message. The SD build has brass plates cut and engraved to the design and finished by hand; the CNC build has brass plates CNC-machined for finer detail; the HD build has zinc alloy plates cast in a mould and finished by hand, for the deepest relief and the most weight. 2 mm plates are included and you can go up to 5 mm: thicker plates allow deeper relief and weigh more. Gold plating is a thin layer of real 24K gold on the surface of the plates. We will explain what each choice changes for your design and price it in your quote.

Will the belt fit?
Any belt size can be made, from kids to jumbo. The standard strap is cowhide leather, about 50 to 51 inches (127 to 130 cm) long, with a snap closure and several snap positions. If the belt has to fit a particular person, send us the waist measurement and we will confirm the fit in writing for your order.
Can I order several belts at once?
Yes. Five or more belts are 20% off each belt and ten or more are 25% off; the discount comes off automatically in the cart. For sets beyond ten belts, such as matched multi-division or multi-season sets, ask for a custom quote. Repeat orders get a further 5% off with the code REPEAT5. Tell us how many belts you need, whether they share one design and the date you need them by.
What about shipping, duties and returns?
Shipping is free worldwide by courier (UPS, FedEx or DHL), tracked and insured. Import duties are prepaid by us (DDP), so there are no customs charges to pay on delivery. Because every belt is made to order, we do not accept change-of-mind returns. If your belt arrives damaged, faulty or not as ordered, email support@msbelts.com with photos within 14 days of delivery and we will repair it, replace it or refund it. Plating, hardware and stitching carry a lifetime warranty.
