Ordering a belt from MS Belts works like this. You choose a design from the shop or send us your own idea. The options and the price are settled. Our workshop makes the belt, and a courier delivers it to your door. Every belt is made to order, which means it is made after you order it, so none ships the day you buy. Most belts are made in about 5 to 6 working days. Delivery then takes up to 5 working days by courier, worldwide. Allow about 6 to 11 working days door to door.
Two ways to order
There are two starting points. Both end with the same workshop making your belt.

The steps, in order
- Choose your starting point. Pick a design in the shop, or describe the belt you want on the quote page.
- Choose the build. The build is the combination of plate metal, plate thickness and finish. The plates are the metal pieces on the front of the belt. The standard build uses zinc alloy, a lighter and more affordable metal, in plates 2 mm thick. There are three options: brass plates (brass is a denser, heavier metal), thicker plates, and 24K gold plating (a thin layer of real gold on the plate surface). Each option has a fixed price.
- Get a quote, if your order is custom. Logos, fully custom designs and personal details are quoted by email, so you have the price in writing. Personal details means a name plate, which is a small plate that carries a name, or engraving, which is lettering cut into the metal. These start from $25.
- Approve the design, if your order is custom. You approve the design, and the production timing starts from that approval, not from your first message.
- The workshop makes the belt. Each belt goes through 7 or 8 production phases, depending on the build. The plates are cut and engraved to the design, then finished by hand. The strap is cowhide leather.
- The belt is dispatched. It leaves our workshop by courier (UPS, FedEx or DHL) with tracking. Shipping is free worldwide.
- The belt is delivered. If your country charges import duties or taxes, which are charges on goods arriving from abroad, the courier bills them to you.
What should your first message include?
Tell us four things:
- What the belt is for: a league, a company award, a club, an event or a gift.
- The wording you want on the plates.
- Your logo or artwork, if you have it. The guide to preparing your artwork explains what to send.
- Your event date, if there is one, and the country the belt is going to.
Will you see the design before it is made?
For a design from the shop, the product page shows the design. Your choices change the build, not the artwork.
For a custom design, you approve the design before the production timing starts. Ask in your first message how the design will be shown to you and how changes are handled before approval. We confirm it in writing for your order.
How long does it take?
- Making: most belts are made in about 5 to 6 working days after the order, or after design approval for a custom design.
- Shipping: up to 5 working days by courier, worldwide. Customs, the checks a country makes on goods arriving from abroad, can occasionally add time.
These are estimates under normal conditions. They are not promises. If you need the belt for a fixed date, tell us the date before you order and read planning back from your event date.
What do you pay, and what is not included?
Prices are in US dollars. For a design from the shop, you pay the price shown on the product page for the options you choose. Brass plates add $100, each step up in plate thickness adds $40, and a gold plated belt costs $70 more than the same belt unplated. For custom work, the price is quoted by email, so you have it in writing.
Shipping is free. Import duties and taxes are not included in our prices. The United States charges them, and so do many other countries. The guide to shipping, customs and duties explains how that works.
Can you cancel or return a belt?
You can cancel an order free of charge within 24 hours of placing it. Because every belt is made to order, we do not accept returns for a change of mind.
If your belt arrives damaged, faulty or not as ordered, email support@msbelts.com with photos within 14 days of delivery. We will repair it, replace it or refund it. The full wording is in the refund policy.
