The Texas Heavyweight Championship dates to the 1930s, and Fritz Von Erich's promotion in Dallas, renamed World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) in 1982, used it as a main title. This listing is a made-to-order replica by MS Belts of the red Texas map belt in the photos. The page opens on the closest build to the photos, and every choice shows its price.
About the WCCW Texas Heavyweight Championship
The exact creation date of the title is not known, but it is among the oldest championships in professional wrestling. It was the NWA Texas Heavyweight Championship from 1948 to 1986, when WCCW left the NWA and became the World Class Wrestling Association. In August 1989 it became the USWA Texas Heavyweight Championship. The Dallas Sportatorium was the promotion's main venue.
Pepper Gomez holds the record for most reigns, 15, and David Von Erich was the youngest champion, at 20 years and 50 days. Kerry Von Erich also held it, and Kevin Von Erich was the last recognised champion, winning it on 23 November 1990 in the final World Class show.

The real belt and commercial replicas
We found no source for the maker, metals or weight of the belt the promotion used, and no commercial replica specification, so we could not match the photos to a particular version. Our closest build is Zinc alloy (cast), Standard, 4 mm, which is what this page shows first.
How we make it
- Plates: brass as standard (cut and engraved to the design, then finished by hand), or zinc alloy cast in a mould made for the design for +$100 (deeper 3D relief, takes plating well).
- Finish: standard, or 24K gold electroplating for +$20 (a thin layer of real gold on the surface of the plates, not solid gold).
- Thickness: 2 mm is included, up to 5 mm at +$50 per extra millimetre.
- Strap: cowhide leather, about 50–51 in (127–130 cm), snap closure with several snap positions. Other sizes and strap colours can be quoted by email.
- Made to order: see the delivery estimate on this page.
- Free worldwide courier shipping (UPS, FedEx or DHL) with tracking. Import duties are prepaid by us (DDP).
- Lifetime warranty on plating, hardware and stitching.
