A league belt is a trophy your league can wear and pass around. Decide first whether one belt travels from winner to winner or each winner keeps their own. Then choose a design, pick options that suit a belt that will be handled a lot, and plan how each season's winner is recorded on it. Every MS Belts belt is made to order in our workshop, so order well before your draft or final.

Two words used throughout: the plates are the metal parts of the belt, and the strap is the leather part they sit on.
Should we pick an existing design or go custom?
There are two routes. You can choose a design from our league belt collection, linked at the end of this guide, and pick your options. Or you can ask for a fully custom design with your league name and logo. Custom designs are quoted by email through the custom belt quote page. Custom name plates and engraving start from $25.
Either way, the belt is made to order.
How do we add each season's winner?
A name plate is a small metal plate that carries a name, a year or a short line of text. Engraving means cutting lettering into the metal. Both are available and are quoted by email, from $25.
Before you order, think about how many seasons you want the belt to cover, and say so in your quote request. Whether a plate can be added or replaced in a later year depends on the design, so we confirm it in writing for your order.
Check every spelling before the design is approved. Because each belt is made to order, change-of-mind returns are not accepted. An order can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of placing it.
Which options suit a belt that gets passed around?
- Thickness. Plates are 2 mm thick as standard, with 4 mm, 6 mm and 8 mm upgrades at +$40 per step. Thicker plates allow deeper relief, which is the height difference between the raised and recessed parts of the design. They also weigh more, which matters if the belt is posted between members.
- Metal. Zinc alloy is standard. An alloy is a mix of metals. Brass is a +$100 upgrade. In general, brass is denser, heavier and harder than zinc alloy.
- Gold plating. Optional 24K gold electroplating is a thin layer of real gold on the surface of the plate. The belt is not solid gold. The price difference between plated and unplated is $70. Plating is a surface layer that can wear with abrasion, so a belt that changes hands every season needs gentle handling. Pass our care guide on with the belt.
A worked example: a league that chooses brass and a 4 mm plate adds $100 and $40. That is $140 on top of the listed price.
We do not quote belt weights here. If weight matters to your league, ask and we confirm it in writing for your order.
Will one belt fit everyone?
The strap is cowhide leather, about 50 to 51 inches (127 to 130 cm) long. It closes with snaps, which are push-together metal fasteners, and has several snap positions. That lets one belt be adjusted from winner to winner.
We do not publish a waist range. If you are unsure, measure the largest waist in your league over normal clothes and send us the figure. We confirm in writing whether the belt will fit. The guide to belt sizing and fit covers measuring.
When should we order?
Most belts are made in about 5 to 6 working days. Delivery then takes up to 5 working days by courier, worldwide. Allow about 6 to 11 working days door to door. Customs checks can occasionally add time.
For a custom design, the clock starts when the design is approved, so allow extra time to agree it. These are estimates, never guarantees. Count back from your draft party or final and order at least 3 weeks ahead to allow for design approval and customs. See planning back from your event date.
What will it cost the league?
Prices are in US dollars. Shipping is free worldwide by express courier (UPS, FedEx or DHL), with tracking.
Import duties or taxes, if your country charges them, are billed to you by the courier and are not included in our prices. The United States does charge them. The bill goes to whoever receives the parcel, so agree in advance how your league will share it, along with the cost of the belt.
What if something is wrong when it arrives?
Open the parcel when it arrives, not on draft night. If the belt arrives damaged, faulty or not as ordered, email support@msbelts.com with photos within 14 days of delivery. MS Belts will repair it, replace it or refund it.
