Plate material: Zinc alloy (cast)
What’s the difference?

Brass plates are the standard: cut and engraved to the design, then finished by hand. Brass is dense and hard, so the belt feels solid in the hand. Cast zinc alloy plates are made in a mould cut for your design, then finished by hand. Casting allows deeper 3D relief than engraving, and zinc alloy takes plating well. The extra cost covers the mould and the hand-finishing. Brass or cast zinc alloy plates

Finish: 24K gold plated
What’s the difference?

24K gold electroplating puts a thin layer of real gold on the surface of the plates. The belt is not solid gold. Like any plating, the gold layer can wear if it is rubbed against something abrasive. The standard finish has no gold layer. Gold electroplating explained

Plate thickness: 4 mm
What’s the difference?

This is how thick the metal plates are. 2 mm is included. Each extra millimetre, up to 5 mm, adds the same amount, shown on each choice. Thicker plates allow deeper relief in the design, so details stand out more, and they weigh more. Plate thickness explained

About this design

The ROH Women's World Championship was set up by Ring of Honor in 2020. This listing is MS Belts' made-to-order replica of its first design, in gold with black enamel and a silver ROH logo. The page opens on the build closest to the real belt, and every choice shows its price.

About the ROH Women's World Championship

Wikipedia says the title was established on 1 January 2020, replacing the ROH Women of Honor World Championship. A tournament was postponed by the pandemic, and Rok-C won the inaugural title on 12 September 2021 at Death Before Dishonor XVIII, beating Miranda Alize in the final.

Deonna Purrazzo took the belt from Rok-C in January 2022. On 4 May 2022, Mercedes Martinez beat her on AEW Dynamite to unify it as the Undisputed ROH Women's World Championship. Athena won it on 10 December 2022 and holds the longest reign. A second, silver design was revealed on 31 March 2023.

Design details

  • Main plate: a tall gold plate with filigree borders and a crest at the top. "Women's" arches over a silver ROH logo in a black oval, with "World Champion" curving below.
  • Stones: red and clear stones are set along the oval and the sides of the plate.
  • Side plates: four. Two ornate ovals carry the ROH logo on black, and two round plates at the outer ends carry a gold globe on black.
  • Strap: black leather with a scalloped, stitched edge and textured end panels, one with two rows of eyelets and one with two rows of gold snaps.

The real belt and commercial replicas

Wikipedia names no maker for the belt and describes its first design as gold with silver ROH logos in the centre and the word Women's above the main plate, which fits our photos. We found no commercial replica with published specifications. Our closest build is zinc alloy (cast), 24K gold plated, 4 mm, which is what this page shows first.

How we make it

  • Plates: brass as standard, cut and engraved to the design and finished by hand. Cast zinc alloy (+$100) is made in a mould for the design, with deeper 3D relief.
  • Finish: standard, or 24K gold plated (+$20), a thin electroplated layer of real gold. The belt is not solid gold.
  • Thickness: 2 mm is included, up to 5 mm at +$50 per extra millimetre.
  • Strap: cowhide leather, about 50–51 in (127–130 cm), with a snap closure and several snap positions. Other sizes and strap colours are quoted by email.
  • Made to order: see the delivery estimate on this page.
  • Shipping: free worldwide by courier (UPS, FedEx or DHL) with tracking. Import duties are prepaid by us (DDP).
  • Warranty: lifetime on plating, hardware and stitching.

Questions

Questions about this belt

Which design is this?

Our photos fit Wikipedia's description of the first design, in gold with silver ROH logos. The 2023 design has silver plates and an updated logo, so it looks different.

Which build looks closest to the photos?

Cast zinc alloy, 24K gold plated, 4 mm, which this page shows first. Cast plates give deeper relief to the filigree and the globe plates.

Can you add my name to the plates?

Yes. Custom name plates and engraving are quoted by email at support@msbelts.com.

Independent replica. MS Belts is not affiliated with, licensed by or endorsed by ROH or any other promotion. Names are used only to describe the design.

The three choices, in short

Three choices about the plates decide how the belt looks, how it feels in the hand and what it costs.

  • Plate material

The plates are the metal parts on the front of the belt. Brass plates are the standard: cut and engraved to the design, then finished by hand. Brass is dense and hard, so the belt feels solid. Cast zinc alloy plates are made in a mould and finished by hand, for deeper 3D relief.

Brass plates are included. Cast zinc alloy plates add $100.

  • Finish

24K real-gold electroplating is a thin layer of real gold on the surface of the plates. The belt is not solid gold, and the standard finish has no gold layer.

    24K real-gold electroplating adds $20.

    Gold electroplating explained
  • Plate thickness

Thickness is how thick the metal plates are, in millimetres. 2 mm is included, and you can go up to 5 mm. Thicker plates allow deeper relief in the design and weigh more.

2 mm is included. Each extra millimetre adds $50, up to 5 mm.

How this belt is made

Every belt goes through 7 or 8 phases in our workshop, depending on the build. For a cast belt, casting in a mould takes the place of cutting. Gold electroplating happens only when you choose it or when it is included.

Under normal conditions, most belts are finished in 5–6 working days. For a custom design, the clock starts when you approve the design.

  1. Phase 1: Design and artwork

  2. Phase 2: Cutting the plates

  3. Phase 3: Engraving and detailing

  4. Phase 4: Polishing

  5. Phase 5: Gold electroplating When 24K gold electroplating is chosen or included

  6. Phase 6: Colour filling

Questions

Questions before you order

Short answers about this belt, delivery and returns.

All questions and answers

How long does a belt take?

Under normal conditions most belts are made in 5–6 working days, then delivered by courier in up to 5 working days, anywhere in the world. For a custom design, the clock starts when you approve the design. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Every order ships free worldwide by courier (UPS, FedEx or DHL) with tracking.

We prepay import duties (DDP), so there are no customs charges to pay on delivery.

What are the plates made of?

Brass is the standard plate metal. On custom belts the SD build has brass plates cut and engraved to the design, the CNC build has brass plates CNC-machined for finer detail, and the HD build has zinc alloy plates cast in a mould made for the design and finished by hand, for the deepest 3D relief. On catalogue belts, cast zinc alloy is +$100. Plates are 2 mm thick as standard, and 3, 4 or 5 mm add $50 for each extra millimetre. The strap is cowhide leather.

Is 24K gold electroplating real gold?

Yes, it is a thin layer of real 24K gold on the surface of the plates. The belt is not solid gold, and like any plating it can wear if it is rubbed against something abrasive.

Will the belt fit?

The strap is about 50 to 51 inches (127 to 130 cm) long with a snap closure and several snap positions. That is the length of the whole strap, not a waist size. Email us the wearer's measurement and we will confirm the fit before you order.

Can I put my own names or logo on a belt?

Yes. Name plate engraving can be added on belt pages that offer it. For a logo or a fully custom design, use the belt builder or email support@msbelts.com for a quote. Nothing is made until you approve the design.
